A Day I Will Never Forget!

Sunday, May 31, 2009, is a day I will always remember as if it were just yesterday, even though it has been ten years!

I was spending the weekend out at the ranch of dear friends of mine, getting refreshed, rest, enjoying fellowship, and loving the wide open space of the prairie in the beautiful Flint Hills of Kansas.

While sitting around the table with my friends singing songs, laughing and talking, Martha walked up the stairs and into the kitchen with shock on her face, and said these words.....

"Tiller's been shot, he is dead!"

We all just sat there and couldn't say a word; and looking back now, I think we were all in shock at the news.

It was Sunday, and a little after noon, Tiller had been shot in his church....Reformation Lutheran Church, an apostate church which I, and many others had stood outside of on several occasions, warning congregants that there was a killer in their midst.

We would plead with each person walking into that church to exhort late term abortionist George Tiller to stop killing the babies, but, they continued to welcome this man who made his money off of the slaughter of innocent babies into their apostate church.

As we sat there, staring at each other, the news of his death sunk in, and for me, all I could think about was the first time I had ever been to Tiller's abortuary in 1991 for the 'Summer of Mercy', and then moving to Wichita in 2000, and for the next ten years, ministering in front of that wicked place of death.

Every Tuesday morning at 6:30 am we would be there as women would pour in from different states around the nation, and abroad for their late term abortions (up to the moment of delivery).

We would plead with them, beg them to not let harm come to their child.  Many babies were saved, but many died horrible deaths.

Their little bodies then thrown into Tiller's adult sized crematorium, burned, and their ashes and pieces of their little bodies would come billowing out of the smoke stack on top of his building.

Week after week, year after year, the ashes of these children would land on us, and into the streams, rivers, and prairies, polluting the land with the blood of the innocent.

And as I sat there in shock, I couldn't believe that this had happened.

We had prayed that Tiller would repent, that he would fall to the ground and give his heart to Christ.  We prayed and prayed and prayed that God would save him.

But we also prayed that God would stop the shedding of innocent blood on Kellogg and Bleckley, whatever it took!!!  We pleaded with the Lord to stop the killing.

And Tiller was now dead after killing babies for over 30 years....Lord only knows how many lives were killed by his hands.

The picture that kept coming into my head was of Tiller pulling into the driveway of the abortuary to do his killing, staring at us as he drove slowly in, pointing his finger at us....every single time.

I also thought of the time my good friend Troy Newman went up to Tiller's car, got down on his knees and pleaded with Tiller to repent, and surrender his heart to Christ with tears rolling down his cheeks....but Tiller rejected these pleas.

For the next four years, Tiller's abortuary remained vacant, and for sale.

During these four years, I, along with others, prayed that the churches in Wichita would rise up and buy the property, and tear that place of Molech down!

The following year in 2010, I moved to Orlando, and jumped into the battle here, but my heart never left Wichita...it was undone.

I continued to pray that the church would arise, I pleaded with the Lord that the churches of Wichita would buy that building, but they didn't, and the enemy got possession of it once again.

The opportunity God gave the church to rid the city completely of that bloodshed was ignored, and the killing began again!

It is now the Southwind abortuary, and although they aren't committing late term abortions, they are killing innocent little baby boys and girls, and that place could have been gone!

It is a spiritual cancer, and the land is polluted with the blood of the innocent in Kansas.

The once red state is now blue, as of this last election.

The blood of the children cry out for justice, and I pray that many will once again rise up in Wichita and work hard for the killing to completely stop there.

Yes, May 31, 2009 is a date I shall never forget.

I also will never forget the battle that was fought so valiantly by so many  for the little baby boys
and girls violently killed at that horrible killing center, all of those years!

Lord, please renew hearts in Wichita, please raise your church up to complete the work that once was started.

Send fresh fire Lord, and please stop the killing in the Sunflower state, in Jesus name.
